Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Shanghai Zhuliu Trading Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). We use it to describe our steel coil processing, sheet metal fabrication and material supply services, and to receive customer inquiries.

For the personal information collected through this site, we are the data controller. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

2. What we collect

What you give us. We receive information only when you fill in the inquiry form:

• Name (required) and what you need (required);
• Company, phone and email (optional — but please give us at least a phone or an email, otherwise we cannot reply).

What the system records. When you submit an inquiry, the system also records the time, the page you submitted from, your IP address and your browser identifier. These are used for two things only: blocking automated bulk submissions, and tracing the source if a submission turns out to be abusive.

What we do not collect. ID numbers, bank details, precise location, contacts, photos or biometric data. The site has no account registration and does not read anything else on your device.

3. How we use it

• To answer your inquiry, quote, send samples or arrange delivery, and to follow up within that scope;
• To prevent duplicate and abusive submissions: if the same phone or email submits again within five minutes, the second submission is rejected;
• To send material directly related to your inquiry (mill certificates, sample photos) where you have agreed.

We do not use this information for advertising, do not build user profiles, and do not make automated decisions. If we ever need it for another purpose, we will ask you again first.

4. How long we keep it

These are the periods we actually run, enforced automatically by the system every day — not a wording exercise:

• Inquiries stay in the admin area for 180 days, then move to archive and disappear from the default list;
• After 3 years in archive, the inquiry is permanently deleted together with its internal notes, IP address and browser identifier.

Past that point an inquiry has no follow-up value, and keeping your name and phone number is only a risk. Where the law requires a longer period for certain records, we follow the law and delete when that period ends.

5. How we protect it

• The whole site is served over HTTPS, so form submissions are not transmitted in clear text;
• Admin access is role-based: only accounts that follow up inquiries can read them, and maintenance accounts are read-only;
• The server keeps access logs for troubleshooting, and the database is backed up regularly. Backups are used only for recovery and are subject to the same access controls;
• Only sales and admin staff who need it for their work can see an inquiry.

Nothing on the internet is absolutely secure. If a breach affecting personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and report to the competent authority as required by law.

6. Who sees it

• Our sales and admin staff, only where the work requires it;
• Our hosting, domain and email providers, only as needed to run the site and send notification emails. They act within our instructions and may not use the data for anything else;
• Courts or authorities where the law compels disclosure.

Beyond that, we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. We do not actively transfer your personal information outside mainland China. If a cross-border transfer ever becomes necessary because of where a provider is located, we will tell you the recipient, the purpose and the safeguards in advance, and ask for your separate consent.

7. Cookies and third parties

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no third-party analytics, advertising or social plugins. Browsing anonymously, we do not write tracking identifiers into your browser.

• Login cookies: only when you sign in to the admin area does WordPress set the necessary login and preference cookies. This affects administrators, not visitors.
• Map: where we embed an Amap (Gaode) map on the contact page, Amap processes the technical information it needs under its own privacy policy. If no map is embedded, the page shows a static image of our location and loads no third-party scripts.
• Fonts and scripts: served from our own server, not from a third-party CDN, so your visit is not exposed to a font or script provider.

You can block cookies in your browser; browsing and the inquiry form still work.

8. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• look up or copy the information you submitted;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it);
• withdraw your consent and stop us using it;
• explain any clause of this policy.

If you believe our handling infringes your rights, you may also complain to the competent cyberspace or market regulation authority, or bring the matter before a competent court.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at business buyers and engineers, not minors. We do not knowingly collect their information; if something was submitted by mistake, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the version number and effective date above. If a change widens what we collect or why, we will say so prominently on the site and, where necessary, ask for your consent again.
